Harbor Freight News - Hercules Table Saw Huge Price Drop To Just Over A Month After Launch

We wrote about the launch of the long awaited Hercules table saw towards the end of March and while I thought it was a very nice table saw, my biggest criticism over the new saw was its steep everyday price of That pricepoint was exactly the same as the Dewalt DWE7480 it was trying to replicate but was missing the rack and pinion fence system which was Dewalts biggest key feature. Even though they provided a coupon that reduced the price of the Hercules saw to €1, I thought it was still too high given the competition such as Boschs and Skilsaws portable metal roll cage table saws. Harbor Freight, fortunately for us, came to our rescue and reduced the price to a more reasonable level just over a month following initial launch.

I don’t find the price drop surprising as they didn’t move enough units to justify their high Harbor Freight prices. It is now at the reasonable price we expect from Harbor Freight, and I expect it to sell well at this price point. I didnt see any coupons at the time of writing that made the price even more tempting however I wouldnt be surprised if we dont see any coupons for this saw for a good long while since you have to realize they just lowered the price by in less than two months after launch.

Who knows, maybe theyll take my advice and pack in a rolling stand for a total of about I think that would be a great idea and would be some fierce competition to Dewalts table saw with rolling stand.

What do you guys think of the new lower price point?
